Our premier fall event in downtown Parkersburg is the Downtown Throwdown BBQ & Brewfest. Our Brewfest features several West Virginia craft beers, delicious BBQ and other food items from a variety of food vendors, and great live entertainment.

Before the end of the evening, attendees are encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite BBQ item/vendor. The ballot box is located at the main gate. The winner will be announced at the end of the evening and presented with an award.

Beer distributors will offer craft beer. Domestic beer, a limited variety of wine, soft drinks, and water will also be available.

Tickets are $20 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free. 

Payment For Food & Drinks
Most vendors accept cash only, so we recommend bringing cash, but there is an ATM near if needed.

Disposable Cups
Participants will be given a new cup with each new drink. Please make cleanup easier for us by properly disposing of your used cups. We will have recycling trashcans placed throughout the event.

Main Tent
At the Main Tent, you will find 50/50 tickets, the voting box, concessions, general information, lost and found, and event giveaways.

Entertainment
6 to 7:30 p.m. - Back Porch Alibi is a progressive/Americana/blues with enough torch and twang to make you swoon.

8 to 9:45 p.m. – Easy Street Band plays the hits and audience favorites – switching seamlessly between New Music, Classic Rock and R&B, Soul, Funk, Country, Jazz, and Blues. Even though their song list of great cover music is far-reaching – you’ll swear sometimes you’re listening to an original music band – an assault of groove, musicianship, and talent that makes the material come alive.
