Back again by popular demand, Savor Saturday! The Savor Saturday event will complement the planned 2019 Classic Plastics Toy & Comic Expo at the Parkersburg Art Center and offer attendees, as well as the community, an opportunity to sample some of the savory favorites offered in our downtown restaurants.

For every sample purchased at participating restaurants, customers will receive one entry into the Savor Saturday contest (plus receive a bonus entry for checking in to the event on Facebook).

One lucky person will win dinner for two at a downtown restaurant of their choice and two entry tickets into the 2019 Taste of Parkersburg.

Chams Lebanese Cuisine - shish kabobs, hummus, baba ghanouj dip and grape leaves
Crystal Cafe - soups & cinnamon rolls
Hot Dog Willy's - house made potato chips with 5 different flavors to choose from
Maka Mia Pizza at The Point Park Marketplace - pepperoni pizza slice
Parkersburg Brewing Company - beer samples and pretzel bites
TCB - salmon tacos with house-made sriracha aioli and slaw, lime & cilantro
Toscano in Appalachia - free wine samples with homemade bread and choice of olive oil
Unity Cafe - scones and biscotti

Once you’ve finished checking out the Expo and have sampled some of great food downtown has to offer, make sure to stop by the Dils Center for the Downtown Shopping Expo. Free parking is available in the parking garage behind the Dils Center thanks to our community partner at the Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority.
