Due to the weather forecast and issues resulting from the fire, Downtown PKB has decided to modify Monster Mash and move the event indoors.
The movie, "Toy Store of Terror," will begin at 6 P.M at the Smoot Theatre. Doors will open at 5:30 P.M. Attendees will enter in the main entrance of the Smoot from 5th Street. Free admission for this movie.
Following the movie, participants will have an opportunity to trick-or-treat in Wakley Hall, adjacent to the Smoot, from the participating vendors. A costume contest will be added to the this year’s Monster Mash with prizes awarded at the conclusion of the movie.
The Smoot will be showing the movie Beetlejuice at 9 P.M. as scheduled. For more information on this movie, visit the Smoot Theatre’s website. Admission is $5 for this movie. Come dressed in your best costume
There is no admission charge for the event.
Monster Mash is a family-centric Halloween party made possible by Downtown PKB and local businesses and community organizations who set up to be vendors for this event. Children will experience hands on activities, and trick-or-treat giveaways provided by the local businesses and community organizations. Limited concessions will be available for purchase for those interested. Following our Monster Mash activities on Market, children will walk over in Halloween Parade fashion to the historic Smoot Theatre to watch "Toy Story of Terror!" The movie is FREE and will begin at 7:45 p.m.
Adults, stick around because at 9:00 p.m. the historic Smoot Theatre will be showing "Beetlejuice." Admission is $5.00 per person.
