Market Street Merchants & Artists Walk

A collaborative event between Artsbridge and Downtown PKB, the first-ever Market Street Merchants & Artists Walk will bring together local downtown merchants, arts groups and area artists in an effort to continue adding interesting and lively events to downtown, while promoting the arts.

With over 20 stops along the Walk, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.  Event Chair, Karen Waller, expressed her delight in having so many participants in the first year. “This has really caught on better than we had hoped and I’m delighted to have so many great businesses and organizations participating. Those who attend will have a great time, I’m sure,” Waller said.

Participants can start at any point on the map, depending on what they are looking for. The event stretches from the 1100 block of Market Street to the Point Park Marketplace. Locations will be up and running at 6:00 p.m. and the Walk itself will wrap up at 8:00 p.m. Everyone is then invited to gather at the Point Park Marketplace for a free performance from The MIXX Band from 8-10pm.

From live music, to handmade crafts, art, and children’s entertainment, the event will feature both local and regional artists from a variety of backgrounds. Vendor showcases will be located at both Artsbridge and the Point Park Marketplace, offering a unique assortment of shopping opportunities.
